The show&#8217;s hit some serious high notes in the last few years and some of that credit definitely goes to him. <\/p>\n<p>Oh, but don&#8217;t worry. Adam&#8217;s poised to get a lot of Gleeky <a href=\"http:\/\/music-mix.ew.com\/2011\/02\/23\/glee-adam-anders-original-music-exclusive\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">attention<\/a> in the coming weeks, as he is the man behind the show&#8217;s upcoming original songs. Adam has opened up to sources about the show&#8217;s first foray into original musical and he has a lot of good things to say.<\/p>\n<p>For one, he acknowledges that for the show&#8217;s first original group number, <em>Loser Like Me<\/em>, he had a little help from one of the best in the business &#8211; <strong>Max Martin<\/strong>. To date, the show has already covered 30 of the talented producer&#8217;s songs and when it came time to find someone to co-produce the New Directions &#8220;Gleek anthem&#8221;, Max was the obvious choice. Adam explains:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"7\">\n<p>\u201cThe thing about Max is that he\u2019s a huge fan of pop culture and he just loved the idea of being part of something that\u2019s such a cultural phenomenon. So it was actually not hard to convince him at all. He was all about it.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The &#8220;very uptempo, kind-of-summery hit\u201d will feature <a href=\"http:\/\/www.perezhilton.com\/category\/Lea-Michele\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Lea Michele<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.perezhilton.com\/category\/Cory-Monteith\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Cory Monteith<\/strong><\/a> on lead for most of the verses, but for the show&#8217;s second original number, Lea will go at it alone.<em> Get It Right <\/em>was actually crafted especially for <em>Glee&#8217;s<\/em> &#8220;child star&#8221; by Adam, his writing partner and Adam&#8217;s wife. When asked how the song came to his team, Adam explains:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"8\">\n<p>\u201cLea\u2019s storyline kind of inspired that song for me. Basically, you try to do everything right and you have good motivations with everything you\u2019re doing but everything ends up going wrong. How many times will it take for me to get it right?\u201d\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The answer to that question, in terms of the success of these songs, is still TBD, but we&#8217;ve got high hopes.
