He\u2019s had a difficult time sitting back and watching his son Charlie<\/a> indulge in drugs and hookers, and Martin Sheen says he thinks the \u201cTwo-and-a-Half Men\u201d star has a serious disease.<\/p>\n

The \u201cWest Wing\u201d actor gushed, \u201cHe\u2019s an extraordinary man. If he had cancer, how would we treat him? The disease of addiction is a form of cancer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Charlie\u2019s half brother Emilio Estevez added, \u201cYou build up an immunity I guess,\u201d when asked how he deals with being constantly questioned about Sheen.<\/p>\n

Martin summed it up, “You realize that we’re not all on the same journey all the time, yet we have to love that much more.”<\/p>\n
