\nBARBARA WALTERS, the American television broadcaster, gave a quick riposte to a comment about her personal life made by the former model JESSICA HAHN, reports CBS News.
\nHahn was appearing on ‘The View’ as part of the show’s ‘Where Are They Now?’ series, but tempers soon began to flare after SHERRI SHEPHERD asked the 51-year-old a question about her ‘sexual encounter’ with JIM BAKKER. The story hit the headlines in 1987 when it was revealed that Hahn, a former Playboy model, had been paid to keep the ‘encounter’ quiet by televangelist Bakker. The 51-year-old has always been adamant that the incident was rape, but Shepherd asked her to speak of “the affair”. After taking offense to the comment, Hahn turned the conversation on co-host Walters, saying, “In your book ‘Audition’ you had an affair with the senator”. Walters admitted to having an affair with Senator EDWARD BROOKE in her 2008 autobiography. However, the co-host surprised Hahn with a quick retort, saying “This is about you, my dear. This is not about me, okay? I’m very happy talk about my relationships, but this is about you”.\n<\/p>\n
\nHahn was in a relationship with RON LEAVITT, the co-creator of the sitcom ‘Married.with Children’, from 1991 until his death in 2008.<\/p>\n
