The singer is due to perform two concerts while in Hawaii this week.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span>Sir Elton, who will be called Daddy, and 48-year-old Furnish, who will be called Papa, became parents through a surrogate mother on Christmas Day<br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Last week Sir Elton, who is worth \u00a3185million, told how he wants Zachary to have \u2018a solid old-fashioned childhood\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span>He<br \/>\nadded: \u2018<\/span><span>I so value my own childhood now, and\u00a0 the sense of wonder and personal<br \/>\ndiscovery that I enjoyed, that we want to give Zachary &#8211; as much as we<br \/>\npossibly can &#8211; the same thing.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Sir Elton \u2013 who once spent \u00a3293,000 on flowers in a 20-month period \u2013<br \/>\nwent on: \u2018I know it\u2019ll be hard with my life, but we want him to have<br \/>\nthat same normality and for things in life to have real value.<\/span><\/p>\n<div readability=\"24\">\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/2734d708683_634x776.jpg\" width=\"634\" height=\"776\" alt=\"Father and son: Elton beams with joy as he holds eight-week-old Zachary on a sun lounger on holiday in Hawaii\" class=\"blkBorder\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Father and son: Elton beams with joy as he holds eight-week-old Zachary on a sun lounger on holiday in Hawaii<\/p>\n<p><span><br \/>\n\u2018So we don\u2019t intend to spoil him \u2013 we\u2019re going to try to give him a fun,<br \/>\ncarefree time of innocence, freedom, love and stability.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>And in an interview with the Today show earlier this month, he said he was going to enjoy the challenge of bringing up Zachary. <br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He said: &#8216;I thought, \u201cYou know what? I\u2019m going to try it. I\u2019m sure as much as I can give him, he\u2019s going to give me a thousand-fold back.
