According to him, it is time Pastors in the country seize all politicians and take them through intense deliverance sessions to season their speech.<br \/>\nTo him, politicians see themselves as saints or angels who never make mistakes; hence whatever they say is the gospel truth, which is rather unfortunate.<br \/>\nHis comment comes in the wake of the \u201c<strong>all die be die<\/strong>\u201d comment by the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo Addo.<br \/>\nNana Akufo-Addo, addressing party supporters in the Eastern Region on Tuesday February 8 urged the NPP to rise against any attempts by members of the NDC to intimidate them in the 2012 General Elections. According to Nana Addo, the NPP was founded with courageous and bold people who are ready to die for the party if need be to wrestle political power in 2012, charging them \u201c<strong>all die be die\u201d.<br \/>\nNana Addo\u2019s comment has since drawn widespread condemnation from the ruling NDC, and some members of the general public but the campaign Manager of Nana Addo, dismissed assertions from some portion of the public that Nana Akufo Addo is brewing war and inciting the youth of the party to pick up arms.<br \/>\nSpeaking on\u00a0<strong>Peace FM\u2019s Kokrokoo<\/strong> morning show, Mr. Boateng Gyan said he is looking forward to the day when a politician will out of his or her volition withdraw an offensive comment after sober reflection. He alluded to the infamous \u201cmany ways of killing a cat\u201d remark by National Chairman of the NDC, Dr. Kwabena Adjei, and said the whole country rose up against him as if none had ever made a politically incorrect statement before.<br \/>\nHe described as appalling how politicians keep repeating the same mistakes made by someone else and was roundly condemned.<br \/>\n\u201cWe are humans and we will definitely fault but I am waiting for the day a politician will have enough courage to come out publicly to denounce a comment or speech made which was in bad taste. I find it difficult to understand politicians sometimes, when our leaders or elders say something and we realize it is wrong, we still come back trying to explain to make it sound nice,\u201d he said in obvious reference to attempts by the NPP to justify the \u201call die be die\u201d comment by Nana Addo.<br \/>\nHe believed Nana Addo might have made the unfortunate remark out of over-exuberance, when he saw the large number of party faithfuls, but for some in the NPP to back him is to say the least inexcusable.<br \/>\nThe NDC National Organiser lamented that since time in memorial, the NDC has been labeled as a violent party and no matter how hard they try, they cannot seem to disengage themselves from that tag, thanks to the NPP.<br \/>\n\u201cNow the NPP perceived to be decent, is perpetrating even worse acts,\u201d he noted.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>National Organiser of the ruling National Democratic Congress, Yaw Boateng Gyan, strongly believes all politicians need deliverance.
