An Accra-based legal practitioner, Kwame Akuffo, says ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas needs to be highly commend for executing a perfect undercover work by exposing the nefarious activities by some nation wreckers at the Tema port.
\nHe has, however, expressed shock that \u201conly eleven people have been exposed\u201d in the video recording and argues that if indeed Anas did spend 124 days in conducting the investigation, then someone tampered with the video tape by editing some portions in order to hide other culprits.
\nLawyer Akuffo also believes it was a wrong move for the Anas\u2019 investigative works to have been \u201cplayed on our national television\u201d and watched by many Ghanaians before a possible trial in court of the culprits commences.
\nTo him, this might \u201cincite public affection against the culprits, invoke prejudice, and also lead to a situation where the culprits would not receive a fair trial.\u201d
\nPlaying the devil\u2019s advocate for the perpetrators caught on video in the Anas\u2019 expos\u00e9, Lawyer Kwame Akufo said the important question that arises for public discourse is \u201cwhether the tape was edited or skewed in a manner to expose only eleven culprits.\u201d
