According to him, he  was throwing a challenge to the deputy minister to name the state  institution which funded Anas and the one who contracted him to do the  investigation.<br \/>\nHe also noted that President Mills&#8217; directive that  people who would be enlisted into CEPS must declare their assets was  misdirected because Act 550 of the 1992 constitution states that people  from the ranks of assistant collectors of taxes declare their assets.<br \/>\nBut  Deputy Information Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa in response  explained that \u201cthe government does not think it is strategic at this  point in time to make all these details public, it will jeopardize what  is going on\u201d.<br \/>\nHe hinted that 15 people have been arrested and some of the companies that have been indicted have been invited for questioning.<br \/>\nMr  Okudzeto Ablakwa said the government would make all the details public  at the right time so that it does not jeopardize the ongoing actions  being taken.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, the National Youth Organizer of the  Convention People&#8217;s party (CPP), James Kwabena Bomfeh, a panelist on the  programme stated that issues of corruption should not be made partisan  issues but rather there should be a collective effort in fighting it.<br \/>\nSource: Adwoa Gyasiwaa<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Samuel Awuku has dared Deputy Information Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa to name the state institution which funded the two recent investigative works by journalist Anas Aremayaw Anas.
