\nThe people lost their lives around 0545 hours on January 19, when a cargo vehicle loaded with sardines from Accra to Mankessim clashed with a bus killing 10 on the spot and three others later at the Winneba Government Hospital and Apam Catholic Hospital.
\nThe deceased were Ebusuapanyin Kojo Ninson, Okyeame Kofi Sekyi, Opanyin Kobina Tsia and Madam Adjoa Kosohwe.
\nThe others were opanyin Kofi Ebum, alias Tanko, Egya Mensah, Madam Ekua Edua, Madam Esi Ahwerebi, Opanyin Kofi Etsiwa, Kobina Tetteh and Anthony Kwame.
\nRight Reverend Dr Joseph Kow Ghunney, Bishop of the Winneba Diocese of the Methodist Church officiated at the non-denominational pre-burial service.
\nHe bemoaned the spate of carnage on the roads and called on drivers to ensure the safety of passengers.
\nRt Rev Ghunney said if due diligence had been observed by the drivers, the tragedy would have been avoided.
\nHe asked God to console the hearts of the bereaved families.
