The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has reconsidered its decision to charge its aspiring Members of parliament (MP) GH\u00a216,000 as filing fee for next year\u2019s general elections.
\nThe party has plans of reducing the GH\u00a216,000 that it recently proposed as the filing fee that eligible candidates have to pay before realizing their ambitions.
\nNana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the presidential candidate of the party, who disclosed the pleasant news, said the party would not hesitate to reduce the amount if they received concerns from the grassroots of the party in connection with the colossal amount.
\nThe 2012 presidential candidate of the NPP and the party\u2019s National Chairman, Jake Obestebi-Lamptey, are currently on a nationwide tour, aimed at helping the party to select its parliamentary candidates without any troubles.
\nThe NPP bigwigs are currently in the Ashanti region meeting all the 39 constituencies.
