Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew is hoping his Marseille team-mate Mathieu Valbuena will return to the champions\u2019 line-up soon after injuring the France international in training.
\nAyew made the call after his training-ground tackle ruled the France forward out for up to six weeks.
\nValbuena suffered medial ligament damage to his left knee after the pair clashed last Saturday.
\nThe 21-year-old Ghana international said: \u201cI hope that Mathieu will return soon. We need him. It\u2019s hard for him but it\u2019s tough for the entire squad [without him].\u201d
\nMarseille coach Didier Deschamps \u2013 whose fifth-placed side visit second-bottom Monaco on Sunday.
