Hearts of Oak board chairman Commodore Mensah has astonishingly revealed his outfit is to be blamed for the club\u2019s woes in the Ghana Premier League.
\nThe Board of Directors has come under huge criticism from the club supporters who have accused some of them of \u2019sabotaging\u2019 the effort of newly appointed Chief Executive Officer Fred Crentsil.
\nThe 2000 African champions have struggled for football oxygen this term as they have picked up only 22 points from a possible 57 and currently lie at a parlous 14 position.
\nThe supporters aborted an intended massive demonstration on Wednesday to allow the Council of Patrons to decide on the future of the 24-man Board. Mensah has sensationally admitted the actions of some of the board members have somewhat undone the club.
\n\u201cWe know we are to blame and so allow us to fix it before we think about who comes and take over the club,\u201d He told Asempa FM. \u2018Nobody loves the club more than me and the fact that we\u2019re not doing well is a puzzle to me. When the team play in away matches they do well but just goes flat when they get to the Accra Sports Stadium.
