She said many of the pupils in the district were not performing well academically because they lacked access to quality educational facilities, and called for more efforts to provide such facilities to improve education.<br \/>\nThe District Chief Executive, Sualisu Be-Awuribe, in reading the President&#8217;s speech, assured teachers that by next month, they would be hooked onto the SSSS as the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission had concluded work 011 it.<br \/>\nHe also reiterated government s commitment to improving teaching and learning at the basic school level by providing the necessary facilities and services.
