Ghanaian Afro Pop singer Becca is one female Ghanaian artiste known for projecting the female gender in her songs. Her first and biggest hit song \u201cYou Lied to Me<\/strong>\u201d which featured Kwabena Kwabena and her latest hit single \u201cAfrican Woman<\/strong>\u201d tells it all. Becca has always stood for feminism, but Peacefmonline.com<\/strong> can authoritatively confirm that the \u201cDaa ke daa<\/strong>\u201d hit maker has taken the whole women empowerment thing to the level of \u2018discriminating\u2019 against her male fans and well-wishers.<\/p>\n

Peacefmonline.com<\/strong> investigations reveal that Becca is planning an all-female concert this Christmas for solely her female audience. According to sources, unlike the \u201cRed Lipstick All Female Concert<\/strong>\u201d which allowed both men and women to attend the show, Becca\u2019s event forbids the presence of any man, be it a family member, fan or friend at the auditorium.<\/p>\n

IT\u2019S AN ALL-FEMALE AFFAIR.<\/p>\n

Of course it has raised several eye brows with some of her male fans quite outrage (and particularly so, since they support her music by buying her CDs), when details of the upcoming concert leaked. Her male followers feel they equally deserve the chance of watching her perform on stage. No wonder some members of the male gender are threatening to buy tickets and storm the venue on that day to watch her perform, \u2018ban\u2019 or \u2018no ban\u2019.<\/p>\n

According to deep throat sources, the said show is Becca\u2019s own event being put together by her management, EKB Records, with support from other female artistes. The event is dubbed \u201cThe Becca Girl Talk Live Concert<\/strong>\u201d and it is expected to come off at the National Theatre on Friday, December 23, 2011,.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo Guys, No Boyfriends, No Men\u2026.This Is The Ultimate Girls Night Out<\/strong>\u201d, is the programme\u2019s catch-phrase, and information gleaned by Peacefmonline.com<\/strong> indicates that the show will feature an all-female Production crew including a female Events Director, Producer, female MCs among others.<\/p>\n

<\/span>In an interview with Peacefmonline.com<\/strong>, the sultry singer confirm the event but strongly refuted the accusation that she is discriminating against the opposite sex. Whiles lauding the role of men in her career and the support they have given her, Becca, also stressed that she could not have made it without women.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need to unite in thought and in spirit as women. I am just keeping the sisterhood alive and celebrating ourselves because it is not easy to be a woman in this part of the world. We will be sharing our strength whiles we have fun,\u201d Becca said.<\/p>\n

Asked if she really believed over 1500 women will be ready to purchase tickets to fill the National Theatre on the said night without the presence of their male \u2018chaperons\u2019, the sensational singer replied, \u201cjust wait and see how we women do our things. I know the place (National Theatre) will be jam packed with beautiful ladies.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Peacefmonline.com<\/strong> prodded for more details about the upcoming event, Becca simply remained tight-lipped saying more information on the event can be sourced from the various commercials being aired on Radio, Television and the other media outlets. She however added that detailed information about the event will be provided at a press conference scheduled to take place soon.<\/p>\n

Becca won two awards at the just ended 4Syte TV Music Video Awards<\/strong> including the ultimate \u201cBest Overall Music Video<\/strong>\u201d award the \u201cBest Female Music Video<\/strong>\u201d awards. With just an album to her credit, Becca has won for herself several awards including: Ghana Music Awards \u201cAlbum of the Year<\/strong>\u201d for two consecutive times in 2009 and 2010, \u201cRecord of the Year<\/strong>\u201d 2009 and 2010 and \u2018Best Female Vocal Performance<\/strong>\u2019.
