Newly signed on Black Stars Coach, Goran Stevanovic says he will make results speak for him in his quest to have a lengthy stay with the National Team A when he begins his two-year renewable journey with Ghana on February 1.
\nThe 44-year old Serb who has agreed an initial two years contract with an option of another two year renewal at the instance of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) yearns for a lengthy stay with the Stars.
\n\u201cI want to stay as long as I can and wanted here. I want the results to speak for me and I know the players are talented enough to give us that result.\u201d
\nStevanovic is mandated to qualify the Black Stars to the 2012 and 2013 Nations Cup and to win them and he says he will strike a good balance between foreign and local players in his quest to improve upon the team built by his predecessor, Milovan Rajevac.
\n\u201cMilovan laid a good foundation and I will want to improve upon that. I will give all players equal chance, local or foreign as long as one is good enough for the team, disciplined and active.\u201d
\n\u201cI will be in touch with all the local coaches and try to know all the good local players around; I promise.\u201d
\nStevanovic who becomes the third Serbian to manage the Black Stars withina period of six years, coached Partizan Belgrade to the Serbian League title last season.
