CJA however kicked against government\u2019s  decision to increase fuel prices saying the NDC government had reneged  on its promise to reduce it.<br \/>\nA member of the group Kwasi Adu  noted that the NDC\u2019s justification for the recent increases is very  ridiculous but added that the group was not ready to demonstrate against  the increases.<br \/>\nHowever, speaking to Citi News spokesperson for  AFAG, Samuel Awuku said he is highly disappointed in CJA\u2019s posture and  described their decision not to demonstrate as shameful. \u201cThere is a bit  of a mockery of the situation and it is interesting but to me their  posture is shameful. Are they saying that they will not go on  demonstration because some NPP people are pushing for them to go on  demonstration? The NPP people who are pushing are Ghanaians so why not  prove them wrong&#8230;their position is very shsmeful\u201d.<br \/>\nAccording to  Samuel Awuku, if the government fails to reduce the fuel prices by  Friday January 14, AFAG will have no choice than to demonstrate.<br \/>\n\u201cAFAG  gave an ultimatum which will end on Friday. If by close of Friday we  don\u2019t hear anything from government which would lessen the plight of the  people, which will seek to address the concerns of the Association of  Ghana Industries, the concerns of the Taxi driver, the concerns of the  National Union of Ghana Students and the concerns of the Ghana Union of  Traders Association, AFAG will take a decision that will be in the  interest of the people\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pressure Group, Alliance for Accountable Governance (AFAG) has described as a mockery the stance by another pressure group, the Committee for Joint Action on recent hikes in fuel prices.
