The GSE-Composite Index (GSE-CI), the benchmark measure of performance of the Ghana Stock Exchange, continues rally on Monday, going up 6.13 points to 1,001.63 from 995.50 points on Friday with a year-to-date return of 0.16 per cent.
\nThe GSE-Financial Stocks Index (GSE-FSI), which tracks the performance of listed financial stocks, also rose 6.47 points to 991.16 points from 984.69 points with a year-to-date change of -0.88 per cent. Six equities saw price changes during the session, equally shared between the gainers and losers.
\nEcobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) went up GH\u00a20.01 to GH\u00a20.15 , Produce Buying Company (PBC) gained GH\u00a20.02 to GH\u00a20.17 and State Insurance Company (SIC) appreciated GH\u00a20.01 to GH\u00a20.44. On the flip side, SG-SSB Bank dipped GH\u00a20.04 to GH\u00a20.60, HFC Bank fell GH\u00a20.02 to GH\u00a20.38 and Ghana Oil Company (GOIL) was lower GH\u00a20.01 to GH\u00a20.28. Market Capitalization closed the session up marginally to GH\u00a220,105.6 0 million from GH\u00a220,014.02 million.
