Since arriving in America, Koby\u2019s God given musical gift has seen him perform at some of the world\u2019s most prominent music centers, such as the Kennedy Center in the nations capital and the Radio City Music Hall in the Big Apple, New York City.<br \/>\nHe has shared the stage with music legends Nancy Wilson, Chaka Khan and Dionne Warwick. In August 2006, he performed at Reggae on the River, and shared the stage with reggae music icon\u2019s Sean Paul, Barrington Levy, Sanchez, Ziggy and Stephen Marley, Bunny Wailer and the Father of Afrikan music, Salif Keita, among many other recognized artists.<br \/>\nAlthough Koby, is a humble individual, his accolades speak for him. Most recently, gaining additional recognition as a key performer in Detroit\u2019s 21st African World festival. Despite all of this and more, Koby\u2019s determination to remain true to himself and his country as an artist is noteworthy and also commendable.<br \/>\n\u201cOther countries have kept the authenticity of their music. My goal is to continue to maintain the authenticity of African music, but still incorporate the sounds of others.\u201d<br \/>\nAnd when it comes incorporating, Koby has that skill down pat. Koby\u2019s distinguished sound of fusion has enabled him to diversify his performances for audiences around the world &#8211; from charity groups in America, to Churches in Europe, Jazz Festivals in the Bahamas and Ghanaian stages for celebrities.<br \/>\nPhil Black CEO\/Executive Producer of Victory Entertainment Int\u2019l states, \u201d One cannot speak of all Koby\u2019s accomplishments, without also talking about his international credentials, which boast performances with Kojo Antwi, Hugh Masekela, Amayke Dede, Daddy Lumba, Ofori Amponsah and Toby Foyeh.\u201d Most notably is Koby\u2019s membership with the famous, Sakra Band of Megastar, which took Ghana\u2019s music scene to a whole new height. His versatility as an artist is vividly displayed in his first Gosel CD entitled: \u2018Praise the Lord\u2019 and the second album, \u2018Pepele\u2019 fame, flying with the Lord.<br \/>\nCurrently, Koby is working on the completion of his most current project, an AP, Hip-life, hi-life Coupe de\u2019 kala album called \u2018Step to the top\u2019. This album is packed wick with a collection of songs, a music video, interviews and behind the scene segments of making the video as well as an exclusive photos slide show. For his fans, this is one highly anticipated project.<br \/>\nSome of the song titles on the CD are \u2018Abeeba\u2019, \u2018Befo me plane\u2019, \u2018I\u2019m Aware\u2019, Awuraba\u2019 and more. The highly anticipated project which was directed by the sister of Bill Cosby were shot at the Zanzibar on the waterfront in downtown Washington DC, Washington Dulles Airport and Potomac, Maryland.<br \/>\n\u2018Step to the Top\u2019 will be coming out soon, so watch out for it! Also watch out for his latest movie \u201cPAPARAZZI Eye in The Dark\u201c premiere in a state near you\u2026 With a career as bright as his smile, and as certain as his warm personality, Koby Maxwell is sure to only go farther and accomplish more.
