The GSE Composite Index (GSE-CI), the benchmark measure of performance of the Ghana Stock Exchange, continues its upward trend with a gain of 2.81 points to 993.89 points.
\nThe Change-year-to date now stands at -0.61 per cent.
\nThere were four price changes, equally shared between the gainers and the losers.
\nThe advancers were Produce Buying Company (PBC), which went up GH\u00a20.01 to GH\u00a20.15 and Total Petroleum Ghana up GH\u00a20.93 at GH\u00a210.93.
\nThe losers for the session were Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) down GH\u00a20.01 at GH\u00a22.61 and Enterprise Group Limited (EGL) shed GH\u00a20.01 to close GH\u00a20.50.
\nTraded volumes dropped sharply to 67,191 shares, valued at 109,137.83 cedis compared to more than 1.3 million shares worth GH\u00a23.03 million traded at the previous session.
\nMarket capitalization is up marginally at GH\u00a220,006.11 million from GH\u00a219.992.08 million.
