{"id":272794,"date":"2011-01-05T12:23:22","date_gmt":"2011-01-05T12:23:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/?p=44746"},"modified":"2011-01-05T12:23:22","modified_gmt":"2011-01-05T12:23:22","slug":"ndc-digs-into-early-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2011\/01\/05\/ndc-digs-into-early-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"NDC Digs Into Early Campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-33446\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/2010\/11\/13\/internal-bickering-in-ndc-must-stop-ashitey-adjei\/ndc_logonew-2\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-33446\" title=\"ndc_logonew\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/ndc_logonew1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"230\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>THE RULING National Democratic  Congress (NDC), as part of strategies to win the 2012 polls, has adopted  early campaign methods to outwit their opponents.<br \/>\nThe party has  therefore authorized all its members across the country to start zealous  campaign, starting from January 1, 2011, so as to enable it find it  easier to retain the political seat.<br \/>\nJoseph Yammin, the Ashanti  Regional Scribe of the NDC who disclosed this to DAILY GUIDE in an  interview, said the party had no time to waste with regards to  campaigning to win the next elections.<br \/>\nHe disclosed that the NDC  would, latest by February 2011, come out with documented evidence of  laudable and landmark achievements chalked by the President Mills  administration within a spate of two years. In line with this, he  announced that the party hierarchy is currently putting in place a  comprehensive programme to outline the numerous achievements of the  government.<br \/>\nPresident Mills\u2019 achievements, he noted, would be  used by the party as a message to lure more voters to join the NDC to  continue with their effectual policies and programmes for the country.<br \/>\nUntil  the party comes out with a comprehensive programme, Yammin entreated  the party faithful to start telling their friends and even work mates  about the good work the government has done.<br \/>\nHe mentioned  construction of school blocks, plans to build an ultra modern eye clinic  at KATH in Kumasi and smooth works at the Asokwa and Sofolone  interchange projects as some of the visible works of the government in  the Ashanti region. Yammin was full of hope that the NDC administration  would retain political power in 2012 based on its good works and \u2018Better  Ghana\u2019 agenda, but warned party members against complacency.<br \/>\nHe  said proper campaign, whereby all and sundry would actively be seen  selling the party to other voters, especially the floating voters, would  lessen the work of the party.
