Football consultant Neil Armstrong Mortagbe and Hearts of Oak\u2019s scribe Ashford Tetteh Oku have not applied to be the next general secretary of the Ghana Football Association.
\nThe two administrators were strong candidates for the position to be vacated by Kofi Nsiah.
\nBut their decision not to apply for the post has left Kurt Okraku and Cudjoe Fianoo as the leading candidates for the job.
\nSome of the other candidates pitching for the job are GFA Deputy General Secretary Isaac Addo and another GFA official Emmanuel Gyimah.
\nOkraku, who holds an MBA in Football Administration from the prestigious Liverpool University in the UK, is the favourite for the job.
\nHis work for GHALCA as the administrative secretary has brought massive positive changes to the body representing clubs in Ghana.
\nHe is credited for the current format of the GHALCA Top Four competition, the President\u2019s Cup and the return of Ghana\u2019s FA Cup.
\nFianoo is also tipped by the experts for the job because of his long association of football administration in Ghana.
\nHis highest academic qualification is a Diploma in Journalism which leaves him behind Okraku but his experience in the game will count in his favour.
