After the applicable lead role she played in the award-winning epic Yoruba movie, \u201cAramotu\u201d, which earned her\u00a0 nomination as Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2011 Africa Movie Academy Awards, Idiat Sobande, has disclosed her plans to set up a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) to champion the cause of gender inequality in Nigeria.<\/p>\n

The delectable actress also said she has a plan to go into marriage again.<\/p>\n

Idiat, speaking with HVP, recently said playing the role of Aramotu, influenced her in no small measures, adding that \u201cAramotu is one of the most challenging roles I\u00a0 have ever played in my acting career.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adding, she said,\u00a0 \u201cI\u2019m planning to set up an NGO, basically to use it to assist the widows and less-privileged women in our society. I was influenced by the role; Aramotu is a kind of woman that is loved by everybody. She loved to assist humanity, and that is the kind of a woman I represent.\u201d<\/p>\n

The mother of two children, who has been out of marriage for many years now, Idiat is not ruling out the possibility of her getting married again.\u00a0 \u201cI was married before\u00a0 now, and today, I\u2019m a single parent. But I tend to go into marriage again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Refusing to talk about her first marriage, the Ogun State born actress who put up a superb performance in the well-whelmed and bar-raising Yoruba language movie \u201cAramotu\u201d only muted \u2018I wouldn\u2019t want to talk about it now.<\/p>\n

I have two sons, my first son is 20 years of age.\u201d<\/p>\n

Asked what it means to be in and out of marriage, Idiat\u00a0 said, \u201cthere is nothing so special, it happens everywhere. I\u2019m not the first person , nor will I be the last to be out of marriage. I don\u2019t think tehre is any experience or lesson one can learn from it.\u00a0 Since it has happened, it has happened, life must continue. I don\u2019t have any challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n

The tall and well-built Idiat\u00a0 has acted in movies like Iyawo Saara, Abode Mecca, Kondo Olopa, Omo Iya Ajo and Aramotu. Outside the turf, Idiat has also featured in television series like, Temidire and Feyikogbon.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
