Arsene Wenger has revealed that a deal to bring Thierry Henry back to the Emirates Stadium will “certainly happen” in the January transfer window.

There has been plenty of speculation surrounding the future of Arsenal’s record goalscorer, who has been training with the club to keep up his fitness during the MLS off-season.

With the impending departure of Gervinho and Marouane Chamakh to the Africa Cup of Nations and the reliance on Robin van Persie’s fitness, Wenger looks to have moved to secure Henry as cover on a two-month loan from New York Red Bulls.

The French striker last played for the club in March 2007 in an injury-hit season before he moved to Barcelona in the summer of 2007 for £16.1 million.

Goal.com wants to know what you think about Henry’s sensational return to north London.

Do you think he still offers enough to complement Van Persie and improve Arsenal?

Or are you worried that he risks ruining the legacy he built through his 226 goals for the club?

Perhaps you feel he just isn’t good enough at 34 years of age?
