Australian Eddy Bosnar is set for a move to Korean side Suwon Bluewings in the hopes of reviving his chances with his country’s national team.<\/p>\n
Bosnar spent the last two seasons with Japanese club Shimizu S-Pulse, scoring eight goals in 47 matches as a mainstay centre-back for the Shizuoka team. The deal, expected to be announced soon, will see the former Junior Socceroo join the four-time K-League and two-time Asian champions, a team he described as “massive.”<\/p>\n
“If the move goes ahead I think it gives me a good chance of getting back in the Socceroos picture,” the 31-year-old told SBS on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
“The facilities at Suwon are better than anything I have seen in Japan and it would give me a chance to play at a higher level.”<\/p>\n
Before joining S-Pulse, Bosnar played for two seasons at then-J1 side JEF United Chiba. In addition to Bluewings, S-Pulse received offers from several Korean teams as well as Qatari and UAE clubs.<\/p>\n
