He has since been unable to live up to expectation after failing to break into the Sporting Lisbon first team, where he was let go at the end of his three-year contract.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Ibrahim, who was widely compared to Nigerian legend Austin \u2018Jay Jay\u2019 Okocha, played only two league games for PSV before having his three-year contract terminated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>PSV coach Fred Rutten had described him as fast and special when he signed him on after trials in March.<\/span><\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p> Nigerian midfielder Rabiu Ibrahim has had his contract terminated by Dutch Eredivsie side PSV for his lack of performance 10 months into a three-year contract.
