Brave Giuliana Rancic was today joined by husband Bill at a public signing only two weeks after she underwent a double mastectomy.
<\/span><\/p>\n

Smiling and posing for for photographs, the E! presenter wore a colourful slim patterned dress with gladiator-style heels on, while Bill looked sharp in a blue-grey suit and open necked white shirt.
<\/span><\/p>\n

Hundreds of people turned up in Santa Monica Place to talk to the couple, wish her all the best and get a signed picture from them both.

Happy couple: The E! News presenter returned to her hosting duties on Tuesday, just two weeks after undergoing a double mastectomy following her breast cancer diagnosis earlier in the autumn<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The couple were laughing and smiling throughout as they joked with each person they met.
<\/span><\/p>\n

Giuliana, who returned to her
\npresenting duties on E! News on Tuesday, first announced her breast
\ncancer battle earlier in the autumn before undergoing a four-hour double
\nmastectomy on December 13.<\/span><\/p>\n

Doctors have reported there is a ‘less
\nthan a one percent chance [the cancer] would reoccur,’ her husband Bill
\nsaid shortly after the procedure.<\/span><\/p>\n

‘It feels great to be back at work,’ she said. ‘I wasn’t sure whether I was going to return to E! News this week or after the new year. The last thing I wanted to do was rush my recovery.<\/span><\/p>\n

‘Thankfully, I’ve been feeling better every single day since surgery and this weekend my doctors gave me the green light to get back to work.’<\/span><\/p>\n

Bill, 40, hasn’t left his wife’s side since she first announced that she was diagnosed with breast cancer in mid-October.<\/span><\/p>\n

As
\nshe underwent a lumpectomy, followed by radiation, Bill was at
\nGiuliana’s hospital bedside and continued to take care of her when she
\nreturned home.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nentrepreneur has also been nursing her back to health after she

Giuliana was released from hospital to recover at home a few days after the procedure.<\/span><\/p>\n

I’m feeling good and I’m happy to be back home,’ she told E! News at the time.<\/span><\/p>\n

‘It’s
\nbeen tough, but I’m trying to stay strong and manage the pain,’ she\u00a0
\nsaid. ‘I have a new found respect for women who have been through breast
\ncancer and this surgery.’<\/span><\/p>\n

Rancic
\ndecided to undergo the four-hour procedure, after learning that she
\nstill had breast cancer following her treatment in October.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nher choice to undergo the surgery before Christmas, she said: ‘It’s a
\ngreat time to do it. I’ll be recovering during the holidays.<\/span><\/p>\n

‘It’s kind of quiet, and my family – and of course [my husband] Bill will be with me, so it’s great.’<\/span><\/p>\n

\nme and said, \u2018I want you to know that I could not care less about the
\nphysical aspect of this. I need you here to be my wife, and I need you
\nhere to be the mother of my children one day.’<\/span><\/p>\n

In
\nan interview with Wendy Williams, Giuliana said it was important that
\nthe couple remain lighthearted about the the mastectomy.<\/span><\/p>\n

‘They
\nmight come out looking even hotter,’ she laughed. ‘You gotta have fun
\nwith this. We find the humor in everything. Bill helped pick ’em out.
\nI’m like, Bill, that big? Really?’<\/span><\/p>\n

Bill
\nsaid this month that with less then a one per cent chance of the
\ndisease returning following the operation, they ‘wanted to bring in 2012
\n[and] not look back.’<\/span><\/p>\n

‘There’s something really symbolic about starting out the new year like this,’ he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

‘I always tell Giuliana, once the clock strikes midnight, we’re taking the rear view mirror off the car and we’re not looking back because we’re going to be done.<\/span><\/p>\n

‘No looking over her shoulder, no worries. We can start living life.’<\/span><\/p>\n
