\nKhartoum \u2014 The field commanders of the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) swear to continue the armed struggle against ‘the system of genocide in Khartoum’ said Abubakr Hamid Nour, JEM spokesman.<\/p>\n
He said that the assassination of Khalil Ibrahim was a dangerous new precedent in the political practice of the regime, which had not previously existed. The movement, he said, would react accordingly.<\/p>\n
Nour said they would still continue to work with partners in other movements to overthrow the government in Khartoum by all means.<\/p>\n
Defense Minister lied about ‘clashes’<\/p>\n
In a discreet parliamentary session held yesterday the Defense Minister Abdul Rahim Mohammed Hussein admitted that the JEM leader was killed by aerial bombardment, rather than in military clashes.<\/p>\n
The head of security Mohammed Atta said that the military aircraft had dropped bombs from 120-150 kilometers in the air.<\/p>\n
