Sacked 3SC skipper, Sakiru Lawal has said the Ibadan club owe him at least five million Naira being unpaid signing-on fees over five seasons.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t have any problem with Shooting Stars. All I want them to do is to pay us off since they no longer need us,\u201d Lawal told MTNFootball.com<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are owing us balance payments of our signing-on fees from the 2006\/07 season till last season. In total, they are to pay me over five million Naira.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe worked for this money and we should be paid.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lawal gave a further breakdown of how 3SC owe him five million Naira.<\/p>\n

He said they owe him 60% of the contract fees for the 2006\/07 season, 40% from 2007\/08, 20% from 2008\/09, 80% 2009\/10 and 80% 2010\/11.<\/p>\n

Long-serving Lawal was released by Shooting Stars along with the likes Kabiru Alausa and Tope Orelope ahead of the new season, which kicks off January 7.<\/p>\n

The sacked players have already made a representation to the Oyo State sports commissioner Dapo Lam Adesina in respect of these entitlements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
