{"id":22935,"date":"2011-12-28T15:21:29","date_gmt":"2011-12-28T15:21:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/2011\/12\/ipa-ghana-december-recruitment-for-project-managers-various-projects\/"},"modified":"2011-12-28T15:21:29","modified_gmt":"2011-12-28T15:21:29","slug":"ipa-ghana-december-recruitment-for-project-managers-various-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2011\/12\/28\/ipa-ghana-december-recruitment-for-project-managers-various-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"IPA Ghana December Recruitment for Project Managers, Various Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) is a U.S. non-profit organization dedicated to creating, evaluating, and replicating innovative solutions to poverty and policy problems worldwide.\u00a0 IPA specializes in using randomized impact evaluation to assess the effectiveness of development programs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong><a title=\"Job\" href=\"http:\/\/joblistghana.com\">Job<\/a> Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary:<br \/><\/strong>IPA is seeking three Project Managers for immediate hire.\u00a0 The Project Managers will assist with implementing and evaluating food security and agricultural programs.\u00a0 The positions will be based in Tamale, with frequent travel across the Northern, Upper East and Upper West Regions, and Brong Ahafo with frequent travel across the Brong Ahafo and Greater Accra regions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Project Managers will manage survey fieldwork for the projects; including planning, logistics, hiring, training, supervising daily survey activities, and monitoring.<\/li>\n<li>The Project Managers will also maintain records; including survey tracking, surveyor attendance and project expenses.<\/li>\n<li>They will assist with project budgets, project design and planning, as well as manage relations with partner organizations, and with other tasks as needed.<\/li>\n<li>In general, the Project Managers are responsible for maintaining high quality data collection and will report to Project Associates.<\/li>\n<li>Employment will be for an initial one year period, with the possibility of an extension contingent on employee performance and the project being approved for continuation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Project Managers must be able to independently manage a survey team in the field and contribute to the design and planning of the research projects.
