{"id":13782,"date":"2011-12-14T23:35:00","date_gmt":"2011-12-14T23:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ghanamma.net\/2011\/12\/dont-inflict-pains-on-nigerians\/"},"modified":"2011-12-14T23:35:00","modified_gmt":"2011-12-14T23:35:00","slug":"dont-inflict-pains-on-nigerians","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2011\/12\/14\/dont-inflict-pains-on-nigerians\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Don\u2019t inflict pains on Nigerians\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p><span>An Oyo State Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) \u00a0chieftain, Mr Adesoji Akanbi, has described the planned removal of subsidy on fuel as \u201can elusive solution to a national malady.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Akanbi spoke while delivering a lecture to mark the 2011 Week of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He spoke on the topic: \u201cFuel Subsidy Removal: Relief or Anguish for Nigerians?\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Akanbi, who is also the Managing Director\/Chief Executive Officer (MD\/CEO), Dynasty Airline, said the cost of exploring, producing and marketing a litre of petrol in Nigeria is N31.50K.
