Her wedding may have been “too glorious for words”<\/a> but Sinead O’Connor’s honeymoon will simply have to wait.<\/p>\n

“We don’t really have time for that because we’re both working a lot,” the singer, who tied the knot<\/a> with Barry Herridge in Las Vegas last Thursday, told PEOPLE Tuesday at the Giorgio Armani and Cinema Society screening of Albert Nobbs<\/em> in New York.<\/p>\n

On the agenda instead? “Lots of snuggling,” said the singer, who performed an original song, “Lay Your Head Down,” from the film, which stars Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Glenn Close<\/a> as a woman posing as a man to keep her job as a butler in 19th century Ireland. <\/p>\n

Luckily for O’Connor and her new husband the holiday season will bring romance even if there is no honeymoon. “This will be our first [Christmas] together so we’ll get a lot of mistletoe in,” she said.<\/p>\n

And as for her nuptials, O’Connor says nothing compares to saying “I do” in Sin City.<\/p>\n

“The whole thing was fantastic,” she said. “I highly recommend Vegas.” <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
