Kendall Jenner is going to prom! The up-and-coming model<\/a> graces the pages of TeenPROM<\/em>\u2018s 2012 issue, dishing on everything from her once-introverted ways (\u201cI used to be really shy around the cameras,\u201d she admits) to her beauty secrets (at 16, she\u2019s already wearing eye cream nightly, thanks to advice from her sisters).<\/p>\n

But what the reality star really loves to talk about is fashion. Mentioning that she draws style inspiration<\/a> from sibs Kourtney<\/a>, Kim<\/a> and Khlo\u00e9<\/a>, Jenner admits she used to dislike high heels. \u201cI was so tall, and would tower over everybody, but now I actually love them,\u201d she shares. \u201cHeight doesn\u2019t really matter to me anymore. I feel wearing heels makes everything look better.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reflecting on outfits past \u2014 \u201cKyile and I used to wear the craziest stuff on our show when we were younger,\u201d she confesses \u2014 the teen fashion queen doesn\u2019t seem to have a favorite designer or style of dress. \u201cHonestly, I wear whatever stands out to me,\u201d she says, adding, \u201cI love color. [It] stands out a lot more.\u201d (She also loves jewelry; WWD reported Tuesday<\/a> that Jenner and sis Kylie will launch their own line of gems in 2012.)<\/p>\n

Since making her runway debut at a Sherri Hill fashion show<\/a> in New York this September, Jenner is feeling more confident about her modeling skills<\/a>, too. But it wasn\u2019t always that way.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was really, really nervous and scared,\u201d she recalls of show day. \u201cI was like, \u2018What if my walk isn\u2019t right?\u2019\u201d But after a pep talk from her supportive sisters, she felt at ease. \u201cWhen the lights are up, you can\u2019t really see the audience, which made it a little better,\u201d she explains. \u201cI had a lot of fun.
