The statement\u00a0said\u00a0that\u00a0the Agency suspected \u201cfoul play\u201d when the captain and crew declined to give access to\u00a0NIMASA officials\u00a0 for routine Flag State Control check.<\/p>\n<p>It said that the development\u00a0led the NIMASA team to call for reinforcement from the Maritime Guard Command before it gained access to the vessel. \u201cWhen NIMASA officials boarded the vessel, it was discovered that the vessel was carrying 17,000 tonnes of different mixture of petroleum products without any form of documentation for the cargo. It was also discovered that the original name of the vessel was\u00a0\u2018MT BEAVER\u2019, which was different from the current name \u2018MT BEE\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Comments are moderated.
