AC Milan<\/a> midfielder Clarence Seedorf<\/a> has taken a swipe at Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez<\/a> despite the striker appearing close to a move to the Italian champions.
<\/span><\/p>\n

The veteran Dutchman has claimed that money is the first thing on Tevez’s mind when it comes to negotiating a transfer, with the 27-year-old currently representing his fifth club.<\/p>\n

Tevez has fallen out of favour at City and he appears close to a move away from the Premier League with Seedorf’s current employers and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly in the driving seat to sign the striker.<\/p>\n

Milan vice-president, Adriano Galliani has already confirmed that the Serie A side have agreed personal terms with the Argentine, but Seedorf is not convinced he will be joining.<\/p>\n

“Looking back at his career, his agents and every move he has ever made, I think Tevez will go where they can promise him the most money,” Seedorf told Sky Sport Italia<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“Milan would be the first time in his life that he has chosen a club for his career rather than the money. We’ll see what happens.”<\/p>\n

The midfielder was speaking after Milan’s disappointing 2-2 draw with Bologna in Serie A on Sunday, and he praised the decision from the referee not to award a penalty to the opposition for a debatable handball from the former Real Madrid man himself.<\/p>\n

“The referee was just 10 metres away. From the television footage it looks like a penalty but I know the ball struck me on the shoulder,” he added.<\/p>\n
