Wassaman United recorded only their second game of the season with a smooth 2-0 victory over Liberty Professional at the Essipong Stadium.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mahadi Abubakar scored from a gleeful rebound on the 40th minute before former Hearts of Oak striker Ekow Ghansah came off the bench to confirm victory for the relegation-trapped side.<\/p>\n

Herbert Addo infected massive alteration in his squad for the game naming former premier league player of the season Kweku Essien in midfield.<\/p>\n

The changes in the lineup created huge differences as scoring one and creating the other.<\/p>\n

Wassaman had expressed dominance but were unable to find the net until five minutes left for recess.<\/p>\n

Essien swept a screaming shot at goal which Daniel Agyei failed to make a first time save and the onrushing Mahadi blasted home the lead.<\/p>\n

Liberty tried to get themselves into the game but Michael Helegbe and his men were held in check.<\/p>\n

Herbert Addo\u2019s side managed to get another ball in Liberty\u2019s net but the goal was adjudged as a foul on Black Stars second choice Daniel Agyei.<\/p>\n

Ghansah came off the bench to seal the victory for Wassaman United.<\/p>\n

Abubakar attempt to grab a brace on his debut but Daniel stopped again and Ghansah arrived just in time to connect home for the second goal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
