Picture: Netcare911<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>A man had to be rescued during severe flooding at Amanzimtoti, on the south coast of Durban, on Sunday evening. It\u2019s thought that the man was driving along Long Acres Drive in the Doonheights area, when his vehicle became stranded as he tried to drive through a puddle. A local resident who witnessed the vehicle disappear, later told emergency rescue crews that he grabbed a surfboard and swam out to the vehicle, where he pulled the driver out through a window.
