She is known for her wild curls as much as she is her acting skills.
But Andi McDowell went for a more sleek look last night as she glammed up for the L’Oreal Women of Worth Awards in New York.
Her shiny brunette hair had been star straightened and smoothed down.

The 53-year-old donned a midnight blue, long-sleeved shiny dress which she paired with black heels and a small clutch bag.
Andie had scrubbed up since earlier in the day
when she was spotted strolling the streets of the windy city as she
shopped for clothes.
She wore a massive black coat over a skirt, stockings and boots.
She paired the look with a red scarf. Her curly hair was tied back off her face.

Andie would have been on a high yesterday after her 21-year daughter Rainey Qually was named Miss Golden
Globe 2012, by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which hosts the
awards.
Miss Golden Globe assists at the official awards ceremony which is slated to take place on January 15.
The honoree is traditionally the
offspring of a celebrity, with the honour previously going to the likes
of Melanie Griffith, Laura Dern and Joely Fisher.

More recent honourees include Rumer Willis, daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore in 2008; Lorraine Nicholson, daughter of Jack Nicholson and Rebecca Broussard and Kathryn Eastwood, daughter of Clint and Jacelyn Reeves.
Dakota Johnson also followed her mother Melanie Griffith for the honour back in 200 and last year the role went to Gia Mantegna, daughter of actor and producer Joe Mantegna.
Rainey said of the honour: ‘I would like to thank the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for
giving me this wonderful opportunity to serve as Miss Golden Globe
2012,’ Rainey told reporters during a news conference at Cecconi’s in West Hollywood today.
‘I’m really looking forward to being a part of this year’s awards
presentation.’
Marie Claire Fashion Director, Nina Garcia also attended the awards along with actress Julianna Margulies
