Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic was left satisfied with his side’s 0-0 draw with Nigeria in Tuesday’s international friendly match at London’s Vicarage Road.

The Serbian made six changes to the squad that beat highly improved Sudan 2-0 to qualify to their 19th Africa Cup of Nations finals at the weekend.

Genoa youth team player Massawudu Alhassan, Mohammed Abu, Albert Adomah had a unique opportunity to impress the 44-year-old.

The Super Eagles were on a face-saving mission against their old foes and after both team failed to assert their authority in the game.

Stevanovic insisted he was satisfied with his team’s output.

“I will say I am satisfied with their performance of my team tonight and I will have to sit down and take stock of how the individuals performed,” Stevanovic said in a post match interview.

“It was chance for new players to see how they will fit into the team.

“Like I said, I’m content with the outcome as we continue with our preparations for the next Cup of Nations.”

Stevanovic guided Ghana to a 19th Cup of Nations finals next year which will be co-staged by Gabon/Equatorial with a 100% record.
