Beijing — The secretary for Economic Affairs of the Presidency of the Republic, Armando Manuel, defended in Beijing a co-operation with China for the establishment of manufacturing facilities capable of ensuring quality, durability and maintenance of equipment.
Armando Manuel expressed this view on Tuesday during a visit to the Chinese firm CEMEC, as part of the programme of a seminar on construction of economic zones, taking place in Beijing.
“We know that China is a model of development to world, but we understand that our co-operation requires the establishment in Angola of productive infrastructures capable of ensuring quality, durability and maintenance of equipment”, he added.
In his opinion, Chinese firms represent an element that links people’s economies, but the maximisation of co-operation between the two peoples and countries requires the establishment in Angola of productive infrastructures that generate mutual benefits.
In his turn, the State secretary for Construction, José Joanes André, praised CEMEC for its good works in Angola in the construction and rehabilitation of railway infrastructures.
