AC Milan’s Brazilian forward Robinho says he is not surprised that Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli is not happy with life in the city.

The 27-year-old endured an unhappy 18-month spell at Eastlands before eventually moving to Milan after spending six months on loan at Santos, and feels for Balotelli, who has admitted that he does not like Manchester.

Robinho told the press: “It doesn’t surprise me.

“He’s not the first one to have difficulty in that city.

“I don’t know if he will decide to stay or go.

“But I admit that I understand him.

“You don’t live well in Manchester.”

And the former Real Madrid frontman says he would be happy if recent reports linking ex-AC Milan favourite Kaka with a move back to the club from the Bernabeu were true.

“He is a friend, I’d embrace him willingly,” said the Brazilian.

“If he came here I’d be very happy, although it won’t be easy for him to repeat what he did in his first Rossoneri experience.”

Robinho also expressed his desire for fellow AC Milan forward Antonio Cassano to stay at San Siro.

“Cassano is a great friend of mine and I hope he stays with us,” he said.

    “He must not leave.”

The Brazilian forward helped secure AC Milan their first Scudetto since 2004 last season.
