COMEDIAN Rowan Atkinson cheated death last night after crashing his £650,000 supercar.
The Mr Bean and Blackadder star, 56, was in his McLaren F1 – one of just 100 in the world – when it spun three times, ran into a tree and hit a signpost. He climbed out of the 230mph car with a minor shoulder injury. A source said: “It’s a miracle he walked away.” No other car was involved.
A photo of the 7.30pm crash near Haddon, Cambs, was posted on Twitter.
The star was taken to Peterborough City Hospital. As a matter of routine, he was carried on a spinal board.
