Campbell cost Leicester £1.6m in 2007
QPR have had a bid for striker DJ Campbell accepted by Blackpool.
The 29-year-old scored 13 Premier League goals for the Seasiders last season and will now discuss personal terms with the Premier League new boys.
Campbell joined Blackpool permanently early last season after two successful loan spells from Leicester.
He was given his chance in League football by Brentford, who signed him from Yeading in 2005, before he moved to Birmingham and then to the Foxes.
If the deal goes through, Campbell would be QPR’s fourth summer signing.
Cardiff striker Jay Bothroyd and midfielder Kieron Dyer and defender Danny Gabbidon, who both left West Ham this summer, are the other new arrivals at Loftus Road.
