Luena — At least 35 women all members of the ruling MPLA party’s women wing (OMA), in Moxico province, held Wednesday a clean up campaign, in the provincial maternity hospital in allusion to the African Women Day (July 31).
Speaking to ANGOP, the department secretary for the promotion and women development,
Glória Muhangueno, said the campaign aimed to “give a good look” to the institution in terms of sanitation.
The campaign covered the interior of the building and the courtyard of the maternity, where
women collect trash and rubbish supported by a truck.
She added that the hospital deserves gender activities constantly, as there are many women
concentrated in treatment or delivery services.
