Jay O’Shea has moved to League One MK Dons after being released by Birmingham at the end of last season, with the ambition of stabilising his career after spells out on loan.
The Irish midfielder made one league appearance for the Blues but now intends to become a regular fixture on the right wing.
“I’ve been in England for two years but I haven’t held a place down in a team,” O’Shea told the club’s official website.
“I think I’ve shown glimpses of what I can do but I need to do it on a more regular basis and let people see.
“The hard work starts now. Getting the contract was good but I need to really impress before I get into the team and then hopefully when I get into the team I can hold my place down.”
