PROLINE FC will not to sell goalkeeper Yasin Mugabi to any Uganda Super League club unless they break a bank to acquire the custodian.
Mugabi is linked with a move to the Uganda super League champions but Proline boss Mujib Kasule said yesterday that they are keeping the player with plans to sell him in Europe later in the season.
Kasule however said that they can only loan the custodian to URA FC for a period not exceeding their CAF Champions League bid.
“We don’t want to sell Mugabi to any Ugandan club because we have plans to do so in Europe. We can only loan him to URA for a period not beyond their CAF competition. But if they insist, they will have to break a bank,” Kasule said.
Proline on the other hand have signed veteran Julius Okocha and Paddy Muhumuza from Firemasters in a bid to strengthen their youthful striking line. On their new arrivals list is also Andrew Kidega from Gulu United FC.
Proline open the Uganda Super League season with a match against 2009 champions Bunamwaya SC at Nakivubo.
