The national soccer federation is looking for a foreign camp for the national team, as they prepare to take on Angola in their second last match of the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match away in Luanda.

This means that coach Bobby Williamson will not be able to coach the national U-23 side-The Kobs that will be preparing for the All Africa Games final due in Maputo, Mozambique September 3-17.

Federation vice president in charge of technical, Livingstone Kyambadde, said that although the friendly with Kazakhstan had been put off, the federation is still shopping around for a country that will be able to host them, and test the players ahead of the away encounter.

“We want to do it like it was the case before we travelled to Guinea Bissau,” said Kyambadde referring to the Senegal Camp.

All the professional players had to meet in Senegal for a four-day camp before they travelled, which gave the national team more concentration, resulting into a 1-0 away win for Uganda.

A draw for Uganda from the match will see them qualify for the finals for the first time, ever since they appeared in Ghana in 1978.
