Super Eagles winger, Osaze Odemwingie, has just finished serving a two-match ban at the instance of coach Samson Siasia for walking out of the team without permission.
To the coach, the act constitute indisciplone act, but to the team’s former Assistant coach and striker, Dan Amokachi, it’s noting.
To him, any star player must be crazy to do well, and Osaze falls into this category of players, so he must be crazy.
Amokachi, who spoke in Lagos on Wednesday said, “Every star player has an ego. They are not like any other players. You must be a bit crazy to be a star,” adding, “Osaze must be crazy to be a star. “When you have such players you just know how to mange them,” he noted.
“It is for the coaches to know how to manage such player as long as he delivers and be useful to the team.
He added that Super Eagles has the players to beat Ghana in the international friendly on August 9 in London, but that Ghana has an edge over Nigeria in that its players have shown over the time their commitment to defend their national flag.
“We have the players capable of beating Ghana. but there is something missing which the ?Ghana players have, they are more committed to their national flag.
