Teachers have threatened to hold a 5 day countrywide protest against finance minister Uhuru Kenyatta whom they are accusing of delaying the release of funds meant for employment of teachers. Teachers union Deputy Secretary General Madzo Nzili says KNUT’s top executive committee will meet this week to set the dates for countrywide demonstrations. Nzili accuses Uhuru of ignoring the plight of teachers.
