Chelsea are pushing to find a naming rights sponsor for Stamford Bridge.

The Daily Star Sunday says Blues chief executive Ron Gourlay will redouble his efforts to sell the naming rights to the 42,000-capacity ground.

That follows Manchester City securing a huge £400million, ten-year deal to rename their City of Manchester ground as the Etihad Stadium.

Gourlay is keen to secure a deal so that Chelsea, who run at a huge loss, can comply with the soon-to-be-introduced UEFA Financial Fair Play initiative.

The Blues’ shirt sponsors Samsung are said to be front-runners for the naming rights, which could possibly include the four stands within the ground being renamed too.
