Luanda — The Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, Afonso Pedro Canga, is inaugurating on Friday a professional training centre for extensionists in Icolo e Bengo district in the northern Bengo province.
According to a press note, which reached Angop on Friday, the centre is aimed at upgrading the local staff of the Agrarian Development Institute (IDA), community leaders and farmers.
After the inauguration of the centre, the delegation led by the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries will also visit the construction works of some social projects underway in that locality.
In the framework of the reclassification of the region, the Angolan government expects to build over 500 social houses, medical post, primary school and kindergarten.
