A motorist was yesterday admitted to a Nairobi hospital after he was shot and injured by armed carjackers who attempted to hijack his car in Githurai 44 estate.
The motorist who was driving on a rough road into his compound was attacked by four armed gangsters who shot him in the stomach.
The gangsters escaped in panic after the incident and the victim was rushed to hospital by neigbhbours.
Nairobi Area police boss Anthony Kibuchi confirmed the incident and said that detectives had been deployed to hunt down the gangsters who have been attacking residents in the area.
